The Vermont Tax Seminar, Inc., is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to providing professionals current information on tax laws and regulations.

The annual Vermont Tax Seminar is a full, one-day seminar featuring the latest in federal and state tax updates from local and nationally renowned experts. Included with your registration are comprehensive resource materials, continuing education credits, as well as breakfast and lunch for live participants.

This seminar is designed for accountants, attorneys, insurance professionals, certified financial planners, professional tax practitioners and preparers, paralegals, and others who need to keep abreast of constantly changing tax laws and regulations.

Continuing Education Credit:
This seminar applies for continuing professional education credit on an annual basis, in the areas listed below. Because session offerings change each year, the number of approved credit hours fluctuates. The list below indicates how many credit hours our 2018 Seminar was approved for.
  • Vermont Insurance Agents - Approved for 6 general and 1 ethics credit.

  • Continuing Legal Education (CLE) - Approved for 6 general and 1 ethics credit. Attorneys should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. This credit type requires self-reporting.

  • PACE / The American College - This credit type requires self-reporting.

  • Certified Financial Planners (CFP) - Approved for 6 general credit hours.

  • Certified Public Accountants (CPA) - This credit type requires self-reporting. 1 credit hour is considered for every 50 minutes of program attendance. Sessions are not pre-approved.
